MOT Testing - we are a Class 4 equipped test station with 2 fully qualified testers that can MOT your car Monday - Saturday, including Petrol and Diesel vehicles.
Routine servicing - all brand servicing is offered to our customers. This means that we are not tied to working on any particular make of vehicle. We have all the manufacturers service schedules and can carry out these tasks 6 days a week. This is especially useful for people that work away during the week, or for company vehicles that are not needed at the weekend. If needed, we can arrange for one of us to give you a lift to work, or alternatively we have loan cars for you to use.
Cars that are under 3 years old and still under warranty, can also be serviced by us. Please check the exact details in your vehicles handbook. Don't be fooled by your main dealer, they are not the only people that are allowed, or able to work on your car!

During every service all cars have an engine flush additive used before draining the old engine oil, this helps to remove any build up of sludge or contaminants that can be harmful to the internals of your engine. We also use a fuel system cleaner that is designed to do the same, it helps keep the fuel lines clean and the injectors working as they should so that power and fuel efficiency stay high.
Did you know that your cars Brake Fluid is supposed to be flushed and changed every 2 years? This is because brake fluid is hydroscopic, which means it draws moisture from the atmosphere. This moisture is detrimental to your braking system, causing the internal working surfaces of hydraulic components to corrode and it also reduces the boiling point of the fluid which can lead to premature brake fade.
General Repairs - we are able to carry out almost any repair work to your car, including brakes, clutches, tyres and exhausts, right through to head gaskets, timing belts and engine rebuilds. We also can offer front wheel alignment using our laser alignment equipment.
Electronic System Diagnostics - modern car are full of technology to make them easier to use and also to make them greener and run in a more efficient manner. Unfortunately, these system can sometimes fail and/or cause driveability issues.
The systems comprise of various sensors that constantly monitor the engine and ensure that it runs at its optimum. Sometimes these faults are not easy to find, that is why we have invested large amounts of money into diagnostic equipment and information to enable us to find faults on most makes of car. We currently have at our disposal the latest Bosch KTS diagnostic equipment, Texa, Carman Scan and also VAG-COM, allowing us to pin point the problems when they occur. These array of test equipment allows us access to many makes of car from Alfa Romeo to Volvo and nearly everything in the middle!
But it's not just Fuel Injection systems that we can fault find. We also have software for many other systems on your vehicle including airbags, central locking, climate control, ABS/Traction control and many more.
Air Conditioning - using our fully automatic recharging station, this allows us to completely service the air conditioning system on your car. This machine removes the old gas, recycling it which removes any contaminants. A vacuum test then removes traces of moisture that can cause pipes and heat exchangers to corrode from the inside and this also checks the system for any major leaks. The system is then refilled with the correct quantity of gas and is ready to go. This is recommended to be carried out every 3 years to keep the system in top working condition.
Ever get that musty smell whenever you turn on your cars A/C? That is the smell of the bacteria that is building up on the evaporator in the A/C system, which can in severe cases lead to runny noses, sore eyes and even colds. We have a simple solution. Using ultra sonic technology, a cleaning solution is vaporised inside the car and removes the harmful bacteria, leaving a fresh lightly fragranced scent.
If your car is suspected to have a leak we can carry out a Nitrogen test, this fills the system with the inhert ozone friendly gas above the normal working pressure to find any leaks.
We also offer a leak tracing service using UV dye technology, which can also be added to the system during a service at additional cost.
Cars using R12 gas can now be converted to run on the new R134a gas. By using a specially formulated oil, added to the compressor the system can then be filled with the modern gas without the expensive need of changing seals and pipe work. Please contact us for details.
Towbars - we can supply and fit various makes of towbar depending on your budget and the type of trailer/caravan you will be towing. These include Brink, Towsure and Witter. All towbars can be fitted with either single socket electrics or twin socket electrics. We can also fit the wiring to the modern 'multiplexed' vehicles such as newer Vauxhall, Peugeot, BMW to name but a few.

Volkswagen and Audi performance upgrades - these two makes of car are renowned for there strong build quality, this makes them perfect for upgrading. We can offer upgrades from simple suspension and brake work, to more complex services such as large turbo conversions, intercooler upgrades, large bore engine conversions. Tom's own cars are testament to his capabilities. His current Mk2 Golf has been converted to use a newer 1.8 Turbo engine that has been reworked and is capable of power in excess of 450bhp.
