Many newer common rail diesel engines are starting to suffer from injector failures. When the injector fails it has to be removed and this is where the problems can begin.
The injectors can become stuck in the cylinder head for many reasons, water ingress, carbon build up due to failed combustion seal and electrolytic reaction (aluminium head - steel injector).
The 'old' way of removing these injector was to remove the cylinder head or engine and replace! This is extremely expensive and now unnecessary. We have invested in the best hydraulic injector removal tool on the market.
This european made kit is unrivalled in terms of quality and effectivness. We have sucessfully removed injectors WITHOUT the need to remove either the cylinder head or engine.
One of the worst culprits for this is the 2.0 diesel Renault M9R engine found in Renault Trafic/Vauxhall Vivaro/Nissan Primistar.
The basic price for removal of one injector starts at £150+vat for the first injector and £50+vat for each subsequent injector. This cost does not include any labour time to gain access to the injectors, broken injectors or clamp bolts when attempting to extract, cleaning recesses or seats and injector coding if required afterwards.
